Adanacs Provincials Updates:

Adanacs Provincials Updates:

Congratulations to ALL of our players.  Each and every Adanac has played well in this tournament.  As pointed out by one of our members, every player from U12 to U19 made it to Provincials this year.  This is a testament to our Coaches, our kids and our volunteers.  Although our association is not without challenges, we clearly come out ahead with determination, passion and development for all of our youth.  We appreciate your effort. Your hard work, sportsmanship and dedication have accomplished this for our players.

Thank you, everyone.  See you at the AGM on March 11th

Women’s Provincials were held last weekend in Langley and despite bitter weather, our Adanacs U15 and U12 Women’s Teams played well in their games against worthy competitors.  The teams have wrapped up their seasons, with the U12s bringing home a bronze medal.

U19  Men’s Provincials were held with the Women’s in Langley . Both Adanac Teams play Tier 1 at U19. The teams faced some struggles this tournament, but put in some great games. Lo and behold, they faced each other in the Bronze Medal Game!

The Adanac 1 Team came out the victor in a 10 6 final.  What a strong showing by all teams in this Provincial Games.  Congratulations to all of our players.

This weekend, the boys U12, U14 and U16 teams will be held at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex.  Nine Adanac Teams will play, that’s a remarkable thing..

Going in, the U12s Tier 1 are in 1st place, with the Tier 2 Teams going in 1st and 2nd. The U14 Tier 1, going in 1st place, Tier 2s going in at 2nd and 5fh places.  Our U16s have also placed Tier 1, 1st in division and Tier 2 both 1st and 2nd.  It should be an exciting weekend.
